The short answer
Choose around your own preferences, clear manufacturer instructions, and practical details such as cleaning and controls. A bestseller or a higher price does not guarantee a better fit for you.
Make a short list before shopping
Decide what you want to understand: how the controls work, whether you prefer a rechargeable device, how you would store it, and what cleaning it needs. A product with clear information can be easier to compare than one with a long list of dramatic promises.
Check materials and care together
Read the manufacturer's material specification and cleaning instructions. A marketing phrase such as body-safe is not a complete material description. Nonporous and porous materials have different care considerations; the instructions for the exact product matter.
Waterproof is a specific claim
Do not treat splash-resistant and submersible as interchangeable. Check the stated water rating and use instructions before washing or immersing an electronic device. Charging instructions also belong in your buying decision.
Connected features deserve a closer look
For an app-connected device, inspect permissions, account requirements, privacy settings, and whether basic functions work without the app. Think about whether remote control is a feature you actually want, rather than paying for it because it sounds advanced.
Plan care and compatibility
Check lubricant compatibility before adding a bottle to your basket. Clean and store the product according to its instructions. If sharing, use the appropriate barrier and change it between people; see the health source below. There is no obligation to like a purchase simply because you bought it.
