Happibee Privacy Policy

Keeping it clear. This policy explains what information Happibee collects when you shop with us, how we use it, who touches it, and the controls you have. Short version: we collect what running your order requires, we guard it, and we never sell it.

Four promises about your information

Never sold, ever

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to anyone. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not for any price.

You control it

Ask what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted, free of charge, whoever and wherever you are. Marketing emails end with one click.

Payments we never see

Card details go directly to PCI-certified payment processors. Full card numbers are never stored on, or visible to, Happibee's systems.

Discreet by design

Plain packaging, a generic shipping label, a neutral billing descriptor on your statement, and a review display name you control.

The full policy, honey-clear

1. What we collect

We collect what an order and a good shopping experience require:

  • Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number if provided, and the items you purchase.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by our PCI-certified payment processors. Happibee receives confirmation that payment succeeded, the payment method type, and billing address details used for fraud screening, never your full card number.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login email and order history.
  • Communications: messages you send our support team, and reviews or feedback you submit.
  • Browsing information: device type, browser, pages visited, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in the cookies section below.
2. How we use it
  • Fulfilling your orders: processing payment, packing, shipping, tracking, and support.
  • Preventing fraud and resolving disputes: order, delivery, and communication records are retained and used to screen fraudulent orders and to respond to payment disputes and chargebacks, as described in our Shipping & Billing Policy.
  • Improving the hive: understanding which products and pages serve shoppers best.
  • Marketing you asked for: occasional emails about new products and helpful content, only if you opted in, always with one-click unsubscribe.
  • Legal compliance: tax records, lawful requests, and the record-keeping any real business must do.
3. Who we share it with (and who we don't)

We never sell, rent, or lease your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make your order physically possible, and only what each one needs to do its job:

  • Our e-commerce platform (Shopify), which hosts the store and your order records.
  • Payment processors, which handle your payment securely and are prohibited from using your data for anything else.
  • Shipping carriers and label services, which receive your name and address to deliver your package.
  • Our review platform (Okendo), which sends review invitations for products you purchased.
  • Email and analytics providers, which help us send messages you requested and understand site performance.

Beyond service providers, we disclose personal information only when the law genuinely requires it, such as a valid legal process, or to protect against fraud. We do not send you third-party promotional material, because we do not hand your inbox to anyone.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies are small files that help the site function and help us understand how it is used. Being straight with you about all three kinds we use:

  • Essential cookies keep your cart working and your checkout secure. The store cannot function without them.
  • Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate, which pages and products shoppers visit, so we can improve the store.
  • Advertising cookies help us measure our ads and show relevant ones through partners such as Google and Microsoft. These partners may use cookies to recognize your browser across sites.

Your controls: manage or delete cookies in your browser settings, and adjust ad personalization through your Google and Microsoft account ad settings or your device's ad preferences. Declining non-essential cookies never blocks you from shopping, though a few conveniences may not work.

5. Marketing choices

Marketing emails go only to people who opted in, and every one of them contains a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately. Review invitations from Okendo include their own unsubscribe. Prefer to have us handle it? Reach the Happi Support Team with the email address to remove, and consider it done. Transactional emails about an order you placed (confirmations, shipping, tracking) are not marketing and continue as long as you shop with us.

6. Your rights and how to use them

These apply to every Happibee customer, wherever you live, free of charge:

  • Access: ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information. We honor these requests except where the law requires retention, such as tax records and records of completed transactions, which we also retain for fraud and dispute defense.
  • Marketing opt-out: stop marketing at any time, per the section above.

Send requests through our contact page. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting, and we respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including Texas, California, and the European Union, local law may grant additional rights, and we honor verified requests under the laws that apply to you.

7. Security and retention

Your information is protected with physical, technical, and administrative safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire store and payment handling by PCI-certified processors, meaning full card numbers never touch our systems. No online service can promise perfection, but minimizing what we collect is itself a safeguard: information we never gather can never leak.

We retain order and communication records for as long as needed to serve you and as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution purposes, then dispose of them securely.

8. Discreet by design

Privacy at Happibee is not just a data practice, it is part of the product, and it matters most in our more private departments:

  • Your neighbors learn nothing: every order ships in plain packaging with a generic label, per our Shipping Policy.
  • Your bank statement learns nothing: card statements show our billing descriptor, never product names or categories. Curious exactly what yours will say? Ask us before ordering.
  • Your reviews, your name: you choose the display name on any review, and our support team can change it for you at any time.
9. Children

Happibee.com is a retail website for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and purchases require the purchaser to be 18 or older under our Terms of Service. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as manufacturer pages and carrier tracking. Once you leave Happibee.com, those sites' own privacy practices apply, and we encourage a quick look at their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. Updates take effect when posted here. Material changes will be communicated by email or site notice. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
