Your Privacy Choices

We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics, advertising, or platform services may involve disclosures or processing that privacy laws define as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. Where applicable, you can use the controls below to manage those choices.

Our Privacy Practices

1. Personal information we collectInformation you provide, information created through transactions, and information collected automatically.

We collect personal information in connection with operating Happibee.com and serving customers. The information we collect depends on how you use the store and may include:

  • Contact and order information: name, email address, shipping and billing address, telephone number when provided, items purchased, order value, shipping method, and transaction history.
  • Account information: account email, login-related information handled through Shopify's account services, saved preferences, and order history if you create or use an account.
  • Payment-related information: payment credentials are processed through Shopify and payment providers. Happibee receives transaction status and related information needed to process, verify, refund, or investigate a payment, but does not independently store full payment card numbers in its merchant order records.
  • Communications and content: messages sent to customer support, privacy requests, reviews, photographs, feedback, or other information you choose to submit.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, approximate location derived from technical information, and similar data collected through cookies, pixels, logs, and related technologies.
  • Information from service providers: information returned by Shopify, payment and fraud-prevention services, shipping carriers, marketing providers, analytics services, and other providers that help operate the store.
2. How we use personal informationOperating the store, fulfilling orders, support, security, improvement, and communications.

We use personal information for purposes reasonably connected to operating an online retail store, including to:

  • process orders, payments, refunds, shipments, returns, and customer-service requests;
  • create and administer customer accounts and maintain order history;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized transactions;
  • maintain records relating to fulfillment, delivery, customer communications, payment disputes, taxes, accounting, and legal obligations;
  • operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website and shopping experience;
  • send transactional communications such as order confirmations, shipping notices, support responses, and service-related messages;
  • send marketing communications when permitted and consistent with your preferences;
  • measure advertising and, where permitted, personalize or improve advertising and related services; and
  • comply with law, enforce our policies, protect rights and safety, and respond to valid legal process.
3. Service providers and other disclosuresWho may receive information and why.

We disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate the store, complete transactions, provide requested services, protect the business and customers, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Commerce and hosting providers, including Shopify, which provides core storefront, checkout, account, and commerce infrastructure.
  • Payment, fraud, and security providers that authorize transactions, prevent abuse, and protect accounts and payments.
  • Fulfillment, shipping, and logistics providers that receive the information needed to pack, label, transport, track, or investigate delivery of an order.
  • Customer communication and review providers that help deliver emails, support communications, review invitations, or other requested services.
  • Analytics, advertising, and measurement providers that help us understand site performance, measure marketing, or provide advertising-related services subject to consent and opt-out controls where applicable.
  • Professional advisers and legal recipients, including accountants, insurers, attorneys, regulators, courts, payment networks, law enforcement, or others when disclosure is reasonably necessary or legally required.
  • Business-transfer recipients if ownership or control of all or part of the business changes, subject to applicable law.

Service providers may process information under their own terms or privacy notices when they independently determine how information is used. For example, Shopify may provide consumer-facing services such as Shop or Shop Pay that have their own privacy practices.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertisingHow cookies and similar technologies are used and how preferences can be managed.

Happibee.com and its service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, tags, and similar technologies. These technologies may be used for:

  • Essential functions: cart operation, checkout, security, fraud prevention, account functions, and other features required for the store to work.
  • Preferences: remembering choices and improving convenience.
  • Analytics: understanding traffic, performance, and how visitors use the store.
  • Marketing and advertising: measuring campaigns and, where permitted, supporting relevant or targeted advertising.

Our store's customer-privacy tools control non-essential tracking according to the store's configured regions and the visitor's consent choices. Where a cookie consent banner is presented in your region, you can accept, decline, or manage the categories offered, and you can revisit those choices using the banner or the Manage Cookie Preferences control where it appears on this page.

Some advertising or analytics activity may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws even when no money is paid for personal information. Where applicable, you can opt out using our Data sharing opt-out page. The opt-out applies to the browser or device you use to submit it, and you can optionally provide your email address there to associate the opt-out with your customer account as well. Recognized browser opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control are also honored where applicable law requires it. These privacy tools are designed to apply those choices to covered advertising uses where applicable.

5. Shopify services and Network IntelligenceHow our commerce platform processes data, and the choices Shopify provides directly.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes customer information to provide the storefront, checkout, security, payment, account, analytics, and other commerce services. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store: Shopify may process information about your interactions and transactions with Happibee together with information from interactions with other Shopify merchants and Shopify services to provide Enhanced Services, including security, fraud prevention, analytics, personalization, measurement, and advertising-related features. This processing may occur in the United States and in other countries where Shopify operates.

These platform privacy tools are designed to respect applicable consent, opt-out, deletion, and Global Privacy Control choices for Network Intelligence and related advertising uses. You can learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab), and you can exercise choices directly with Shopify — including limiting Shopify's use of your data for advertising purposes or requesting erasure — through the Shopify Privacy Portal (opens in a new tab). You can also use our Data sharing opt-out page and the other controls on this page.

6. Sensitive-category informationAdditional care around intimate and adult-wellness shopping activity.

Some products sold by Happibee relate to intimate or adult wellness. A purchase does not by itself establish a person's sexual orientation, sex life, health status, or other sensitive personal characteristic, and Happibee does not use intimate-product purchase history to make those kinds of assumptions about customers.

We do not sell sensitive personal information for money. Information about these orders may still be processed when necessary to complete the transaction, prevent fraud, provide support, comply with law, maintain records, or operate services described in this policy. Advertising and platform technologies are subject to the privacy controls described above where applicable.

7. Marketing communicationsMarketing email, review invitations, and your communication preferences.

We may send marketing email when you have signed up or when otherwise permitted by law. Marketing consent is handled separately from ordinary order processing where required. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method that allows you to opt out of future marketing emails, review invitations include their own unsubscribe, and our support team can remove an email address from marketing on request.

Transactional communications — including order confirmations, shipping notices, account-security messages, and direct responses to your requests — are not promotional messages and may still be sent when necessary to provide the service you requested.

8. Your privacy rights and choicesAccess, correction, deletion, marketing choices, and advertising opt-outs where applicable.

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights relating to personal information. These may include rights to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion, subject to legal and operational exceptions;
  • request data portability where provided by law;
  • opt out of certain “sales,” “sharing,” targeted advertising, or profiling;
  • withdraw consent where processing depends on consent;
  • appeal certain privacy-request decisions where applicable; and
  • use an authorized agent where applicable law permits it.

To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or targeted advertising where those rights apply, use our Data sharing opt-out page. The opt-out applies to the browser or device you use to submit it; you can optionally provide your email address on that page to associate the opt-out with your customer account. You can also submit the same request, or any other privacy request, through our Contact page — identify the message as a privacy request. Supported browser opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control are honored where applicable law requires it. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may retain information when necessary for completed transactions, fraud prevention, legal claims, taxes, accounting, security, or other lawful purposes.

We do not discriminate against customers for exercising privacy rights protected by applicable law.

9. SecuritySafeguards used to help protect information.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the services we operate. Happibee.com uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and core commerce and payment functions are provided through established service providers such as Shopify and its payment partners.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers should protect account credentials, use unique passwords where applicable, and contact us if they suspect unauthorized account or order activity.

10. RetentionHow long information is kept.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including completing transactions, maintaining customer and order records, providing support, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, complying with tax and accounting requirements, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by type of information and purpose. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we take steps to delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it consistent with our systems and legal obligations.

11. Discreet fulfillment and customer-facing privacyHow privacy is considered in shipping, billing, and public-facing reviews.

Orders are generally shipped in plain packaging with a shipping label that does not identify the products inside. Billing descriptors identify the merchant or transaction but do not list the products purchased. Details are provided in our Shipping & Billing Policy.

If you submit a product review, any public display name or profile information is handled through the review platform and the choices available there. Contact support if you need help with a review that contains personal information you did not intend to publish.

12. ChildrenOur store is not directed to children.

Happibee.com is not directed to children under 13, and purchases are subject to the age requirements in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of providing the store to them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a manner that should be deleted, contact us and provide enough information for us to investigate the request.

13. International processingInformation may be processed in countries where our providers operate.

Happibee operates an online store serving customers in multiple locations. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States and in other countries where Shopify or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires a particular mechanism for international transfers, the responsible service provider or business may use contractual or other legally recognized safeguards.

14. Legal bases for processing (European visitors)The legal grounds we rely on for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the activity:

  • Contract: processing necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps you request before entering one — for example, processing payment for and delivering an order.
  • Legitimate interests: processing necessary for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud, securing the store, providing customer support, and improving operations, where those interests are not overridden by your data-protection rights.
  • Consent: where consent is required, such as for certain cookies or advertising activities, we rely on the consent you provide, and you may withdraw it at any time.
  • Legal obligation: processing necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
15. Third-party websites and servicesWhat happens when you leave Happibee.com or use an independent service.

Happibee.com may link to carrier tracking, manufacturer websites, payment services, social platforms, or other third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices and terms. A link from Happibee does not make us responsible for an independent third party's privacy practices.

16. Changes to this policyHow this policy may change as our services or legal obligations evolve.

We may revise this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, technology, or legal obligations change. Revised terms take effect when posted unless applicable law requires a different process. When required, we may provide additional notice of material changes by email, site notice, or another appropriate method.

17. Contact us about privacyQuestions, privacy requests, or help using the controls on this page.

For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, contact Happibee through our Contact page. Please identify the message as a privacy request and include enough information for us to understand and respond to it.

If you need help accessing this policy or using any privacy control because of a disability, our Accessibility page explains how to request assistance.
