Reviews & Feedback

Reviews & feedback

Reviews are useful when the rules stay the same.

Happibee uses Okendo to collect and display product reviews. Verification badges, consistent moderation standards, and clear disclosure rules help shoppers understand the feedback they are reading.

Verification is labeledBadges help distinguish purchase-linked and other review sources. Rating does not set the rulesCritical and positive reviews are judged by the same standards. Incentives need contextIf an incentive is offered, it must not depend on positive sentiment.

How to read a Happibee review

Reviewer status

Look at the badge

Okendo can distinguish a Verified Buyer, a reviewer who verified an email address, and an unverified reviewer. The badge shown with a review provides context about how that reviewer was verified.

The experience

Read the words, not only the stars

A rating is a shortcut. The useful part is the reviewer’s own description of fit, quality, flavor, packaging, compatibility, performance, or whatever mattered to that purchase.

Merchant reply

Our response stays separate

When Happibee responds publicly, the reply appears as our response. We do not rewrite a customer’s review to make the review itself sound more favorable.

What “Verified Buyer” means

Verification is context, not a guarantee of opinion.

Okendo identifies a Verified Buyer when a review is submitted through a review request tied to the customer’s purchase. Other reviews may carry a different verification status or no verification badge.

A verification badge helps show the relationship between the reviewer and the purchase. It does not mean Happibee agrees with the review, guarantees the reviewer’s conclusions, or treats one rating more favorably than another.

One moderation standard, regardless of rating

A one-star review and a five-star review are evaluated under the same content standards. Happibee does not reject or suppress a review merely because it is negative, critical, or inconvenient.

We may moderate content when reasonably necessary for standards that apply without regard to sentiment. Examples include:

Privacy & safety

Personal information, threats, harassment, hate speech, obscene content, or other material inappropriate for a public product-review area.

Spam & relevance

Advertising, unrelated links, duplicate material, content for the wrong product, or submissions that are not meaningfully about the product or experience being reviewed.

Authenticity

Content that appears not to reflect a genuine reviewer or genuine product experience, including fake, manipulated, or clearly misleading submissions.

Product vs. support issue

Product reviews are intended to describe the product. Feedback solely about delivery, returns, billing, or customer service may be routed to the appropriate support or site-feedback channel under the same rule regardless of sentiment.

We do not edit customer review text to change its message. If moderation is needed, the review may be published, rejected, or otherwise handled under the applicable standard rather than rewritten into a different opinion.

From purchase to published review

Purchase

An eligible order creates the purchase context that can later support a Verified Buyer review request.

Invitation

Okendo may send a review request based on the review sequence configured for the store.

Review

The customer submits a rating and optional written feedback or media using the review tools available.

Display

If the review meets the applicable standards, it can be displayed with the verification status and other review information Okendo provides.

Incentives & disclosure

A reward can never depend on a positive review.

If Happibee offers an incentive for submitting a review, eligibility for that incentive must not depend on whether the review is positive, negative, or somewhere in between. Where an incentive or other material connection requires disclosure, that relationship should be identified clearly with the review.

We do not ask customers to change a truthful negative review into a positive one in exchange for compensation or a benefit.

Need a problem solved?

A review is feedback. Support is for the fix.

If an order is missing, damaged, incorrect, late, or otherwise needs attention, use the Contact page so the issue can be matched to the order and relevant records. You are still free to leave honest product feedback; contacting support does not require you to remove or change a review.

Review questions

What does Verified Buyer mean?It describes how Okendo verified the relationship between the reviewer and a purchase.

Okendo identifies a Verified Buyer when the review is submitted through a review request sent to a customer in connection with a purchase. Other reviewers may have a different verification status or no verification badge.

Can I leave a critical or one-star review?Yes. Rating alone is not a reason to reject a review.

Yes. A critical review is subject to the same content standards as a positive review. We do not reject or suppress a review merely because of its star rating or negative sentiment.

Can Happibee respond to my review?Yes. A merchant reply may appear separately from the customer’s review.

Yes. We may post a public reply to add product information, answer a question, acknowledge feedback, or clarify information. Our reply remains separate from the review itself.

Can I ask to correct or remove my own review?Contact us and we will review the available Okendo options with you.

Yes. Okendo does not allow merchants to edit the text of an existing customer review. If you want to correct your own review or stop it from displaying, contact us with the order and product. Depending on the review record and the tools available, we may be able to reject the existing review from display and provide a way for you to submit a replacement.

What name appears with my review?Okendo typically displays a first name with the initial of the surname.

Okendo review data uses a reviewer display name that is typically the reviewer’s first name and surname initial, such as “Alex R.” If you have a privacy concern about the name shown with a review, use the Contact page and identify the order and product, and we can review the display options the review tools make available.

How do I report a review that looks fake or violates the standards?Send us the product and enough detail to identify the review.

Use our Contact page and identify the product and review. We can compare the report with the review record and the same moderation standards applied to other reviews.

How do I stop review-request emails?Use the unsubscribe option included with the review request or contact us for help.

If a review-request email includes an unsubscribe option, you can use it to manage future review-request messages. You can also contact us if you need help with messages associated with a Happibee order.
