Does the pump on the larger jar work?
Often not, and buyers say so consistently: the formula is thick enough that the pump struggles to prime and the pickup tube does not reach the bottom. Most people end up scooping it out by hand, which works fine. If a working dispenser matters to you, choose the 3.4 oz airless pump instead.
Why can't I use it with condoms?
Petrolatum degrades latex, which means condoms, latex gloves and latex toys are all out. Nitrile gloves are fine, and so is skin. If you need barrier protection, choose a water-based product instead.
Does it numb anything?
No. The formula is petrolatum and octyldodecanol, with no lidocaine or benzocaine in it, whatever a marketplace listing may say. That is deliberate: pain during anal play is information, and this leaves it intact.
Is it safe with silicone toys?
Oil-based products can degrade some silicone finishes. Test on the base of a toy first, or keep this one for hands and non-silicone toys.
How do I clean it up?
Soap and warm water, and expect it to take more effort than a water-based product. It will stain fabric, so keep a towel under whatever you are doing.
