For a Dragon Ball fan who likes arranging a shelf as much as filling it, S.H.Figuarts Son Goku — A Saiyan Raised on Earth is a compact, poseable gift. Start with the exact edition, the recipient’s age and the space they want to give it.

This is the black-haired Goku in an orange gi, supplied as an assembled figure. Happibee’s A Saiyan Raised on Earth figure is $32 as checked November 1, 2026. That is the item price; check the current product page and checkout for your order total.

Choose the kind of gift they enjoy

They like changing a display

Consider the articulated figure

Someone who enjoys choosing an expression and arranging a character’s stance has a reason to return to this gift after opening it. A small collection can be satisfying without adding a whole cast at once.

They enjoy the making part

Start with a building project

If their favorite part of a gift is spending an evening assembling it, compare that experience with the LEGO Dragon Ball display set. The assembled Goku figure offers a different activity: posing and displaying.

Ask for the edition name

“A Goku figure” is too broad a shopping brief. Ask for a wishlist link or a photo of the box they want, then match the full subtitle. A different expression in a product photograph does not by itself mean you have found a different edition.

What comes with A Saiyan Raised on Earth?

The listed figure and interchangeable parts
Part Included What to plan
Main figure One assembled Goku Choose a shelf or desk location.
Expression parts Three interchangeable parts Keep unused pieces together.
Replacement hands Two left and four right Separate left and right when organizing.

The manufacturer’s contents list covers the figure, expressions and hands. A display stand and energy-effect piece are not listed as included. Budget for the figure on that basis rather than assuming every accessory seen in a collector’s photograph comes in the box.

A relaxed shelf pose

An upright greeting is a simple visual starting point when choosing where the character will sit among books or other figures.

A wider action pose

Outstretched arms and a broad stance change the room a display needs. Leave space in front as well as above.

Measure the space, then choose the pose

The figure is approximately 140 mm tall—about 5.5 inches—and made from ABS and PVC. That height is a useful starting measurement, not a promise that every pose fits inside a 5.5-inch opening.

  1. Check the opening. Measure the clear height of the shelf, including any lip or trim. Leave room to lift and reposition the figure.
  2. Check depth and width. Imagine where extended hands and boots will sit. Keep them away from the edge and from anything a passing sleeve could catch.
  3. Choose a stable starting pose. Begin with both feet on a level surface. A flying pose shown elsewhere may depend on separate support.
  4. Give spare parts a home. Keep the original tray or a small labeled container so expressions and hands stay with the correct figure.

If the recipient wants a particular effect set or replacement part, ask for that exact item too. Similar-looking Goku releases are not a reliable basis for assuming parts will fit. Buy an extra only when its own compatibility information names the intended figure.

Four checks before you wrap it

  • Age: this collectible is intended for ages 15 and up. Choose an age-appropriate alternative for a younger child.
  • Edition: confirm “A Saiyan Raised on Earth,” especially if the recipient already owns several Goku figures.
  • Presentation: ask whether they keep figures boxed. If they do, let them decide when to open it rather than arranging a surprise display first.
  • Budget: compare the complete order with your limit. A figure they actually want is a better starting point than adding unrelated extras to make the gift look bigger.
