RuneScape’s Plugin Hub Is Live: Start With One Useful Change

RuneScape’s Plugin Hub launched on October 19. Before filling your screen with new tools, choose one thing you want your next session to make easier. A small first setup gives you a clearer idea of what is helping.

Find the toolbox
Jagex’s launch guide puts the Hub in the in-game ribbon. In Classic mode, look for the toolbox. On the default Modern ribbon, hover over Settings; a custom ribbon may need editing to make space. A verified email is required through mod.io. After installation, check Manage if a plugin needs permission before enabling.
Choose a job for your first plugin
Launch options include Quest Helper, Tilemarkers, Menu Entry Swapper, Entity Hider and Job Gauges. Quest Helper supports 69 quests at launch; Tilemarkers marks locations. Clue Trainer and Ground Items are still awaiting moderation in the announcement, so keep them off today’s setup list.
Our suggestion: finish this sentence before browsing: “During my next session, I want help with ___.” Keep it concrete. Finding your way through a quest and remembering a useful spot are different jobs; choose the one that matters to tonight’s plan.
Make a three-line setup note
- Purpose: write the small task you want help with.
- Change: record the plugin and any setting you adjust.
- Decision: after the session, write keep, adjust or remove, with one reason.
Add another tool when you can explain what it contributes. If the screen feels busier without making your task clearer, revisit the first change before stacking on more. Your setup can stay small.
Send problems to the right place
For a plugin issue, use its linked mod.io description to find the developer’s feedback channel. For the Hub itself, Jagex directs players to the in-game bug report or official plugin Discord.
Include the plugin name, what you expected, what happened and whether the issue repeats. Those details make a report more useful than “it broke.”
