Splatoon’s Golden Egg Feast: Plan Your Roster and Two Reminders

Choose your group, register before the cutoff and save the November 7 play window for Splatoon 3’s Golden Egg Feast.

A Salmon Run afternoon with friends starts with a small scheduling job. Nintendo’s Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast takes place on November 7, 2026, and you can enter alone or with a group. Choose your roster first, then put two separate reminders in your calendar.

Save the deadline as well as the play window

Registration is open now and closes on November 7 at 9:30 a.m. Pacific / 11:30 a.m. Central / 12:30 p.m. Eastern. Play runs that day from 10 a.m.–noon Pacific / noon–2 p.m. Central / 1–3 p.m. Eastern.

Our suggestion: set your registration reminder for the day before. The half-hour between the official cutoff and the first shift is a useful buffer for getting settled, but registration will already be closed.

Choose the group you can actually gather

The Nintendo announcement lists Solo, Pair, Trio and Team divisions for one, two, three and four players. Each player registers through Tournament Manager in SplatNet 3, inside the Nintendo Switch App.

Make a shared note with three lines: who is playing, who has registered, and the local start time. A pair that can both make the session is an easier plan than waiting for a fourth friend whose afternoon is uncertain.

Check entry requirements before sending the invite

The official tournament rules cover residents of the 50 United States and D.C., Canada and Mexico who are also in those territories while playing. Minimum age is 13 in the U.S. and Canada, and 18 in Mexico; minors need a parent or guardian to complete registration.

You need access to a Switch, Splatoon 3, a Nintendo Account, Nintendo Switch Online membership and reliable internet. Check the full rules together before committing your group.

Nintendo will reveal the stage, supplied weapons and King Salmonid in Tournament Manager within a week of the event. Save a second check-in for that reveal—there is no need to settle your whole game plan today.
