HAPPIBEE / WARCRAFT BRIEFING
The announcement, what changes, and what to check before your next login.

RAID TUNING · US REALMS
Blizzard’s announced changes reduce incoming damage and ease add management in The Venomous Abyss encounter.
The US announcement schedules these adjustments for October 6 maintenance. Heroic and Mythic groups will see Spectral Coils deal one-fifth less damage, while Blight Vein’s duration drops from six seconds to four. Several enemies in the third stage also lose health.
For Mythic, the listed changes include fewer Caustic Waves and lower Toxic Burn damage. The Serpent’s Bite adjustment limits the required soak group to three players regardless of raid size.
Our take: review the affected mechanics with your raid before the next attempt, but keep your assignment plan. These changes ease specific checks; they are not a reason to discard the encounter strategy. Check the official post for the complete difficulty-specific list.

BETA · SERVICE UPDATE
The October 5 US post described a short restart to apply service fixes, with an in-game countdown for testers.
Blizzard said the beta would return a few minutes after going offline. The post concerns beta service maintenance; it is not a statement that every live WoW realm is down.
If you encounter a connection problem now, check the latest official service notices rather than treating this earlier announcement as a current outage. This is a dated news briefing, not a real-time realm-status monitor.
